【About the Actual Car】
Since its founding, BMW has left a brilliant mark on motorsport, and in four-wheeled vehicle racing, it has achieved many victories, especially in the field of touring cars. The M8 GTE is BMW's latest touring car racing model. It is based on BMW's flagship model, the M8 Coupe. The luxurious body design of this two-door coupe, which hides high performance, has been tuned up. The engine is a 4-liter turbocharged V8 mounted in the front.
The body was equipped with parts that enhance aerodynamic performance, including a large rear wing and rear diffuser.
It debuted at the 2018 Daytona 24 Hours race, and after participating in the Le Mans 24 Hours and other races, it was refined and achieved a magnificent class victory at the 2019 Daytona 24 Hours race.
