We are pleased to announce a new 1/144 scale BAC 1-11-500 injection kit from Mark 1 of the Czech Republic. This product is the first injection plastic kit to feature the extended -500 series. The kit includes parts for one aircraft, two types of engine nacelles (with and without hash kits), and three types of decals. Please consider this opportunity.
The BAC 1-11 (One-Eleven) is a short-range twin-engine jet passenger aircraft manufactured by British Aircraft Corporation (BAC) of the United Kingdom. The aircraft made its first flight in 1963 and was produced in the UK until 1984, after which it was license-produced in Romania until 1989, with a total of 244 aircraft being made. The first production model, the -200, had 79 seats, but the -500 series, produced from 1967, had its fuselage extended by approximately 4.5 meters, resulting in 119 seats. Most 1-11 aircraft were retired from scheduled passenger service in the 1990s, but a small number continued to operate as private jets in the 2000s.
