About the actual car
The Corvette is a two-seater sports car from Chevrolet, with a prototype unveiled in 1953 and sales beginning in 1954. Since then, it has undergone repeated model changes and has remained in the lineup to this day, attracting popularity not only in America but also among enthusiasts around the world. It is well known to car fans for its steel backbone frame and the then-unusual FRP body, which attracted a lot of attention. The type from its release in 1954 until 1962 is called the C1 model. Among these, minor changes such as small design modifications were continued, but from 1958 the headlights were changed to a four-lamp type. Also, the engine was changed from the inline 6-cylinder that was initially installed to a more powerful V8-cylinder, and it took a step forward as a full-fledged sports car.
