About the actual vehicle
The Sd.Kfz.171 V Panther tank is said to be the best tank among the German tanks of World War II. It is said to have been influenced by the Soviet T-34 that it faced in the German-Soviet war, and features a hull with sloped armor that is excellent at deflecting incoming fire, and is equipped with a powerful 75mm gun. It made its first appearance in combat at the Battle of Kursk, which began in July 1943. The Panther tank underwent improvements as production continued, and the A type was produced after the first mass-produced D type. In addition to improving the reliability of the transmission, the turret was equipped with a new type equipped with a cupola with a periscope. Over 2,000 units were produced between 1943 and 1944.

The hatches on each part are separate parts and can be assembled in either open or closed positions. New decals are also included, making this a must-have kit for mini-scale fans.
