About the actual vehicle
During World War II, the German army, which emphasized mobility, developed many wheeled armored cars. One of them was the Sd.Kfz.234. The body, which was designed for off-road capability, had an elaborate mechanism of 8-wheel drive, 8-wheel independent suspension, and 8-wheel steering. The engine was a V-type 12-cylinder air-cooled diesel engine. It achieved a top speed of 80 km/h. Several variations of the body, which had excellent driving performance, were also produced. Among them, the Sd.Kfz.234/3 was equipped with a 7.5cm short-barreled howitzer on an open-top chassis. It is said that 88 units were produced from mid-1944 to the end of 1944.
