From ""Star Trek: The Original Series,"" Mr. Spock in his protective suit is now available as an EXO-6 1/6 scale figure.
This product is a model that recreates Spock during his investigation mission to the planet Psi 2000, as seen in the TOS Season 1 episode ""The Sinister Space Disease.""
On the collapsing planet Psi 2000, the Enterprise landing party discovers dead Starfleet researchers inside a research station. To investigate the unexplained anomaly, Spock and his team don protective suits and begin their investigation. During this mission, Joe Tormoren is exposed to a mysterious infection, which escalates into a crisis that engulfs the entire Enterprise.
This protective suit was designed by TOS costume designer William Ware Thies for the Psi 2000 landing party. Unlike the silver spacesuits that appear later, it has a very distinctive appearance with an orange fabric and a silver metallic pattern. It is one of the original and memorable costumes that was created in the limited production environment typical of TOS.
About the model
The portrait of Mr. Spock, played by Leonard Nimoy, is realistically reproduced with a hand-painted finish.The protective suit's hood is removable, allowing you to enjoy both the suit with a screen-like face panel and Spock's expression with the hood removed.
The protective suit's orange and silver patterned material is reproduced with fabric.It is made in a way that does not hinder posing, and gloves and boots made of the same material are also included.The movable body has more than 30 points of articulation, allowing you to recreate the atmosphere of the film, such as standing during investigation missions or posing with equipment in hand.
Accessories include a tricorder with a black shoulder strap, the spectrum analyzer that Spock used to investigate the station, and the EXO-6 standard hexagonal display base.
