EXO-6, an emerging American manufacturer, has attracted the attention of fans by recreating Star Trek characters in a large 1/6 scale. They have been steadily releasing a lineup of popular characters that have been realistically reproduced, and this time, Spock, who served as the captain of the Enterprise in the theatrical film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, released in 1982, is now available.
The Wrath of Khan, the second theatrical film in Star Trek, captivated many fans with the story of the battle between Captain Spock and Admiral Kirk, who are on a training voyage with the Enterprise, which has become a training ship, and Khan, a genetically engineered superhuman who has taken over the USS Reliant and is seeking revenge on Admiral Kirk. Among them, the death of Spock and his farewell to Kirk is one of the most moving and memorable scenes that is still talked about by many fans.The model recreates Spock from that scene.
About the Model
This is a fully assembled action figure of Mr. Spock from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, realistically reproduced down to his facial expression using completely new molds and sculpting. In particular, it models Spock from one of the most moving scenes in history, when he sacrifices his life to save the Enterprise from destruction by stepping into the radiation-filled engine room and restoring the main power. This set includes three different head parts for Spock as played by Leonard Nimoy: his normal expression, the familiar expression with one eyebrow raised, and another depicting his radiation-injured appearance in the final farewell scene with Kirk. All of them beautifully capture the iconic expression of Spock.
The scale is 1/6, and the height is approximately 30cm. The costume is a detailed model of the standard "Monster Maroon" uniform that appeared in the movie, from the design to the details. In addition, it is equipped with a die-cast chest badge and belt buckle. Furthermore, even the custom-made boots are faithfully reproduced. Of course, as it is an action figure, it has more than 30 points of articulation in the hands and feet, allowing for free posing. In addition to one pair of interchangeable hand parts wearing gloves used in the engine room, a total of 9 types are included. A must-have for Star Trek fans.
