They have been steadily releasing a lineup of popular characters that have been realistically reproduced, and this time, Dr. McCoy, the chief medical officer who played an extremely important role in the theatrical film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, released in 1982, is now available.
The Wrath of Khan, the second theatrical film of Star Trek, captivated many fans with the story of Khan, a genetically engineered superhuman who hijacks the USS Reliant and seeks revenge on Admiral Kirk, who is on a training voyage with the training ship Enterprise. Dr. McCoy, the chief medical officer who plays an active role as a crew member with a strong presence alongside Spock and Kirk, is now modeled after him. Of course, it is made with completely new molds and sculpting to realistically reproduce even his facial expression. The face of McCoy, played by DeForest Kelly, is eye-catching with its meticulous sculpting that captures the very essence of McCoy as he appears in the film.

This Regular I Edition figure models McCoy as he appears in the training mission at the beginning of the film and as part of the landing force that is transported to Regular I in search of the Genesis device. The scale is 1/6 and the height is approximately 30cm. It realistically reproduces McCoy, played by DeForest Kelly, down to his facial expression. Furthermore, the costume meticulously recreates the "Monster Maroon" uniform from the film, accurately reproducing the original pattern and color through careful research. It also includes the away mission jacket worn when he was transported from the Enterprise to investigate the Genesis device.
