■Product Description
●Build a large 1/32 scale Bf110, featuring the distinctive bulge of the drop tanks on the underside of the fuselage.
About the actual aircraft
The Messerschmitt Bf110 was a twin-engine fighter aircraft operated by the German military during World War II. It entered service in 1937 and remained in active service until the end of the war, undergoing continuous improvements. The first model to become a full-fledged mass-produced aircraft was the C model, which began production in 1938. Various types were produced, from C-1 to C-7, including heavy fighter and reconnaissance versions. The D model was developed as a long-range version based on the C-3 model, with an extended range. It was created in 1940 in response to the need for a long range for the invasion of Norway. It was characterized by the large plywood drop tanks integrated into the fuselage on the underside, and the unique shape of these drop tanks was called Dackelbauch, or Dachshund's belly. The first mass-produced version was the Bf11D-1/R1.
About the Model
This is a 1/32 scale plastic model assembly kit of the Messerschmitt Bf110, a twin-engine fighter aircraft operated by the German military during World War II. It models the BD110D-1/R1 type, which is equipped with a distinctive drop tank with a shape known as a "dachshund belly" on the underside of the fuselage. The finished model will have a wingspan exceeding 500mm, making it a large scale model. The distinctive shape of the twin-engine aircraft will be reproduced with great impact. The distinctive drop tank on the underside of the fuselage is a separate part that accurately reproduces its shape and texture. In addition, the two engines and the interior of the cockpit are also reproduced in detail, making it a large model that offers a satisfying finish and building experience. This time, Dorami, which has taken over the Dragon Models kit, has brushed up various parts. In addition to photo-etched parts such as seat belts, metal wire to reproduce the antenna on the side of the fuselage is also included. This is a kit that we would like airplane model fans to take their time and enjoy building.
