■ Description
Admiral.・Shea was launched on 25 June 1931 as the second ship of the Deutsche Ruhr-class armoured cruisers. She was named after Reinhardt, commander of the German Pacific Fleet during World War I.・Shea was commissioned on November 12, 1934, and during the Spanish Civil War in 1936, she was sent to Spain between 1936 and 1938 with the primary mission of evacuating German nationals abroad.・She was renovated and converted into a heavy cruiser. From November of that year to April 1941, she was mainly in the South Atlantic.・In the Indian Ocean, the British auxiliary cruiser Jarvis was engaged in a trade destruction operation.・She sank the Bay and 16 merchant ships.・In September 1941, he joined the Baltic Fleet, and in February 1942, he was assigned to the heavy cruiser Prince.・He went to Norway, along with five other destroyers, and on August 16 of that year, he took part in Operation Wunderland, in which he sunk the Soviet icebreaker Sibylyakov.・She was operated as a training ship until the end of 1944, but from February 1945 she returned to the front line, receiving support from ground operations, but due to the severe wear and tear of her guns, she headed for Kiel in March of that year for repairs.・Shear was overthrown in this attack, and it was the end of the war.
