This is a 1/13 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces a Cro-Magnon, which was part of the Prehistoric Scenes series released by Aurora in the 1970s.
About Cro-Magnon
Cro-Magnons were named after Cro-Magnon in southern France, where they were first discovered in 1868. They lived in various parts of the Eurasian continent about 160,000 years ago, possessed advanced stone tool manufacturing technology, and produced throwing spears, bows and arrows, etc. They are believed to have lived a hunting lifestyle. They are also characterized by the numerous paintings they left behind in caves depicting animals and other things.
About the Model
This plastic model assembly kit of a Cro-Magnon, which reproduces extinct creatures and other prehistoric creatures, is back by Dencom. This is a re-release by Dencom Models of the kit that was first released by the old Aurora in 1971. This kit models a Cro-Magnon woman. The kit is a snap-fit design that requires no glue for assembly. Two types of arm and leg parts are included, allowing for a variety of poses. Furthermore, a base with a two-headed snake is also included, allowing you to create a scene of the woman being attacked by a snake. The base is also designed to connect with the separately sold Cro-Magnon man kit. When combined, it creates a scene of the Cro-Magnon man trying to kill the woman with a stone spear while she is being attacked by a snake. This kit can be enjoyed both individually and in combination with other kits.
