The Puma infantry fighting vehicle, developed as a successor to the Malder infantry fighting vehicle for armored personnel carriers, as of 2018[update], uses a 30mm MK 30-2/ABM machine gun equipped with a stabilization device that can be used in combat, and a remotely operated artillery tower equipped with a 5.56mm MG4 machine gun of the same axis. It is operated by a team of three tank commanders, gunners, and pilots, and carries six infantry and can transport six infantry. It uses a modular artillery system that combines the complex assembly and the MUS ("SMultifunktionales Selbstschutz-System" = Softkill Active Defense System) and can change the level of protection depending on the task.・It's a very high-performance infantry fighting vehicle with network capabilities and excellent off-road capabilities.
