The 30FFM multi-purpose mine-fighting frigate "Thommi" type is a state-of-the-art patrol vessel equipped with anti-mine warfare sonar, autonomous underwater navigation mine detector UUV, mine-clearing marine drone USV, and specialized in advanced mine clearance missions.
The first vessel, the Hummingbird, was commissioned in April 2022 and built in order.・We've been equipped with VLS (vertical launching device) since the seventh ship entered service.
The ninth vessel, Nambu, was commissioned in May 2026, while the tenth, Nambu, was commissioned in June of that year.
