■Product Description
Responding to overwhelming requests for its return, the 1/72 A-4 Skyhawk is finally here!
Developed in the 1950s as a carrier-based attack aircraft for the US Navy, the A-4 Skyhawk was a masterpiece that defined an era due to its superior performance. The A-4 Skyhawk, which was one of the most popular series in Fujimi's aircraft kit lineup in the past, is being revived in response to your requests! The A-4 Skyhawk family has produced many variations, some of which are still flying today. Among them, the A-4C, which recorded the highest production number in the series, is being released. The A-4 Skyhawk has left various anecdotes in aviation history, but this time it will appear with the story of shooting down a MiG-17 fighter jet in the Vietnam War as its motif.
□The lightweight and compact style of the Skyhawk is realistically reproduced. The Zuni rocket launcher used in the dogfight with the MiG-17 is also included as a part.
□ Decals are provided for two aircraft of the US Navy's 76th Attack Squadron during the Vietnam War. You can choose to build the aircraft that shot down a MiG-17 and the aircraft that incorporated that achievement into its markings.
