■Product Description
A precise model of the High Mobility Vehicle deployed to various branches, mainly the infantry units of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force.
Basic Features and Specifications
・1/72 scale
・Two High Mobility Vehicles can be built
・Finished size is approximately 70 x 35 x 34 mm
・Three forms can be reproduced, including with or without a canvas roof and with or without a windshield.
・The three forms are the standard form with a canvas roof, without a canvas roof, and air transport form.
・The model is of a type of High Mobility Vehicle recently procured, equipped with a 3-point belt, mudguard fixing rings, and locks.
・Parts are molded in two colors. Composition
・The main body and other parts are molded in gray.
・Transparent parts are used for the canvas top and lighting.
・The floor, sides, rear, and hood are each made of separate parts.
・The body floor reproduces the plain shape difference from the heavy mortar towing vehicle.
・The front panel expresses the shape with finely sculpted details such as meters and switches.
・The seats inside the vehicle are made of separate parts for both the front and rear, improving the accuracy of shape reproduction.
・The shape of the backrest of the front seat is accurately reproduced, and it has the shape of the current specification with a 3-point seat belt.
- The exhaust pipe has a different paint color from the rest of the car, so it is a separate part, designed for ease of assembly.
- The tires and wheels are made of integrated plastic parts (this product includes tires and wheels with even more precise reproduction).
- The tires are parts that represent the shape deformed by their own weight.
- The molded color of the headlights and taillights is clear.
- The doors are made of a single part structure with the glass and door body integrated, and the molded color is clear.
- The canvas is made of a single part structure with the window part and soft top integrated, and has a four-sided structure.

・A wide variety of selectable parts
・The windshield can be reproduced/assembled in the normal state as well as in the state where it is tilted forward for aerial transport
・A current wide-area multi-purpose radio is provided as a separate part and can be loaded inside the vehicle
・Antennas can be attached to the front and rear antenna masts
・Two types of boarding/alighting steps at the rear of the vehicle are included: retracted state and deployed state, allowing you to choose the state
This special edition product includes the following additional parts
・Plastic wheels and rubber tires, for two vehicles.
・Tires/wheels are separate parts, eliminating the need for masking during the painting process.
・The wheel shape is precisely reproduced, just like the regular version.
・The wheel parts are designed with interlocking ribs to prevent misalignment when combined with the rubber tires.
・The tires are specially made with a meticulously reproduced pattern, resulting in a more precise representation than the regular version.
・The parts are made of rubber, providing a realistic representation.
・The tire pattern is that of summer tires commonly seen in all units from Hokkaido to Kyushu.
・The included decals are specially made and only come with this high-mobility vehicle product.
・Includes basic markings common to vehicles deployed to infantry, rapid deployment regiments, and various branches.
・Markings include combinations of actual numbers and units, such as unit designations and vehicle numbers. Includes markings
・Basic markings include the cherry blossom emblem, meter panel, vehicle nameplate, on-board fire extinguisher, and warning markings.
・There are 10 types of combinations of vehicle number and unit designation.
・Main unit designations include 13th, 34th, 37th, 43rd, 44th, 48th, and 50th Infantry Regiments, Airborne Brigade, Suicide Squadron, and Central Rapid Deployment Brigade.
・Vehicle number and unit designation include individual numbers.
・Includes bonus markings for the rear round light unit, which is difficult to paint, and warning markings for the dashboard.
・In addition to the assembly diagram, a special instruction manual is included that contains materials and explanations about the High Mobility Vehicle.
・The explanation of the actual vehicle is written by Toshiaki Namie.
