The F-16C Fighting Falcon is a jet fighter of the United States Air Force.
It was created to support the F-15 Eagle.
The F-16C is an evolution of the F-16A, with increased armament capacity and
enhanced electronic components.
A major feature is the new AIM-120 air-to-air missile, which became available from the C model onwards.
Using this missile makes it possible to attack many enemy aircraft simultaneously.
The F-16C is also deployed in Japan at Misawa Air Base in Aomori Prefecture,
and can be seen at air shows throughout the country.
