[A masterpiece of French mass-market cars with outstanding individuality] The Citroën 2CV is a masterpiece of French mass-market cars, with over 3.66 million units produced from 1948 to 1990. It features a rational and simple body structure, a front-mounted air-cooled two-cylinder engine with sufficient power to drive the front wheels, a spacious interior that can comfortably accommodate four adults, and a ride so soft that it is said eggs placed on it would not break. Although the 2CV was initially described as a ""tin can"" or an ""ugly duckling,"" its high practicality and distinctive style quickly attracted many people and it became a beloved car for a long time.
[Model Specifications] ★This is a plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the 1976 model of the French mass-market car Citroën 2CV. ★1/24 scale, total length 156mm, total width 65mm. ★The distinctive form, visible from any angle, is modeled exactly as it is on the actual car. ★The driver's side window is reproduced with the lower half raised upwards. ★The horizontally opposed 2-cylinder engine and transmission are also realistically finished. ★The front leading and rear trailing arm suspension features a unique front-to-rear linked suspension structure where coil springs set in the center of both sides pull against each other, which is also interesting to observe. ★The canvas top can be enjoyed in two types: closed and open with the canvas rolled up at the rear.
