■Product Description
[An innovative 6-wheeled machine that has etched its name in history] The Tyrrell P34, unveiled on September 22, 1975, as the first 6-wheeled car in F1 history, caused a sensation. The unique tire arrangement of four wheels in the front and two in the rear was designed with three goals in mind: reduced air resistance, improved braking performance, and improved handling. However, apart from the four front wheels, the configuration was extremely orthodox, including the suspension mounted on a triangular cross-section frame and a highly reliable Ford V8 engine. By adopting proven mechanisms whose properties were well understood, speedy and reliable development was made possible. After various improvements were made through testing following its unveiling, the race-ready version debuted at the Spanish GP on May 2, 1976, driven by Patrick Depailler. On June 13 of the same year, at the 7th race, the Swedish GP, Jody Scheckter won and Depailler came in second, proving that the idea of four wheels in the front was quite effective. Furthermore, in that year's Constructors' Championship, it secured third place overall, behind Ferrari and McLaren. The Tyrrell P34, which adopted a four-wheel front system, is an innovative machine that remains in the history of F1.

A large, detailed model that offers plenty of building and viewing enjoyment. ★Front and rear suspensions are movable with coil springs. ★The four front wheels are linked to the steering wheel with a rack and pinion steering system just like the real car. ★A 3-liter V8 Ford DFV engine with ignition wires and fuel pipes. ★Air funnels are made of textured machined aluminum. ★Front, side, and cockpit cowlings are detachable. ★Brake discs, radiator, and nose cowl endplates are photo-etched parts. ★Includes etched parts for seat belt buckles and pedal surfaces. ★Main decals are high-quality Cartograf decals. Set includes decals for cars 3 and 4. ★Tires are made of realistic hollow rubber.
