■Product Description
[The 6-wheel shock makes its first appearance in Japan] The Tyrrell P34, the only 6-wheeled machine in F1 history, participated in the 1976 F1 season and proved its potential beyond mere eccentricity by achieving a 1-2 finish at the Swedish GP. That year, it also made an appearance at Fuji Speedway, which hosted Japan's first F1 race. In qualifying, J. Scheckter secured 5th place and P. Depailler 13th. In the rainy final race, P. Depailler made a fierce comeback and briefly took the lead. Towards the end of the race, his rain tires burst due to the gradually drying track, causing him to drop positions, but he persevered through the turbulent race to secure 2nd place behind M. Andretti in a Lotus. He showed Japanese fans the high level of performance.
