The special ship "Akitsu Maru" was built with amphibious landings in mind. Initially, it was planned to operate 13 Type 97 fighter planes, but it was not equipped with landing gear, and immediately after the start of the war, it was engaged in operations in the southern areas, such as the Dutch East Indies campaign. This kit is a 1/700 scale plastic model kit of the "Akitsu Maru" as it was used as a transport ship in 1942. With a parts configuration that focuses on the essentials, it is simple, easy to assemble, and accurately reproduces the ship.
●Includes decals to reproduce the black, light gray, and dark gray camouflage applied to the deck.
●The stern boat hangar can be opened or closed as an option.
●Includes a Type 95 light tank and a Type 97 fighter jet in the same scale.
