■ Description
The Almagiro was an instantaneous combat vehicle developed by the British Army in response to the German invasion of the British mainland during World War II in 1940-41. It was armed with simple armor and machine guns to protect the driver's seat and cargo portion of transport trucks, and was primarily deployed by the Royal Air Force Regiment to defend airfields and airfields.・It was also used by Guard units. The Almagro Mk.III was the last model to be built with a 37mm cannon from the Coventry Armaments Factory in the body of the Bedford OY.
