■ Description
The M24 Charfi light tank was a light tank used by the United States during World War II.・R is right.・You know, Charfie.・The T7 light tank was designed in 1941 as a replacement for the M3/M5 light tank, intended to be equipped with "75 mm tank guns and powerful armor", but when the combat weight reached 25 t, it was decided to develop the T24 with the M5 light tank handling equipment and engine for the M7 car body layout. The T24 prototype was completed in 1943 and operational testing began in 1944, and production began in June of that year, when it was formalised as the M24 light tank. By August 1945, 4,731 tanks had been produced.
