Coronation Starscream joins MDLX to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the release of "Transformers: The Movie"!
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the release of "Transformers: The Movie," articulated figures inspired by the coloring in the animated film are now available in the MDLX line! Following the first wave of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron, the second wave features Hot Rod and the gray Coronation Starscream.
The Transformers figures in the MDLX line are based on the original TV anime series from the 1980s, with design arrangements by threezero's art director, Kelvin Sau. The "MDLX Coronation Starscream ("Transformers: The Movie" 40th Anniversary Edition)" is a fully articulated (non-transforming) figure approximately 20cm tall. The use of a die-cast zinc alloy and engineering plastic frame system provides approximately 50 points of articulation and high durability.
The "MDLX Coronation Starscream (Transformers: The Movie 40th Anniversary Edition)" is a color variation of the regular MDLX Starscream already released overseas, featuring the gray coloring he wore just before being reduced to ashes by Galvatron's particle cannon in the movie. It also comes with the crown, cloth cape, and shoulder armor (all detachable) seen in the coronation scene just before that.
Other accessories include two interchangeable face parts, a backpack with wings, one pair of laser cannons, one pair of blades, a gun transformed from Megatron, and five pairs of interchangeable wrist parts.
