■Product Description
This is a 1/80 scale plastic kit of the cute 15-ton open freight car [Tom] that was once active on railways throughout Japan.
With a small number of parts and a mechanism that can be easily made to run, this product is designed to be "easy, convenient, and enjoyable in a small space even after assembly," making it enjoyable for beginners to advanced modelers.
Combine it with a wide variety of commercially available locomotives and trains to enjoy a realistic railway model scene even with a small formation.
Kit Features
・Reproduces the image of a 15-ton wooden open freight car that was once active on railways throughout Japan, including private railways.
・Comes in a value pack of two cars, allowing you to enjoy freight trains by combining it with commercially available locomotives and various freight cars.
・The appearance of a standard small open freight car is completely newly produced with a dedicated body.
・Easy to assemble with a colored plastic kit that fits together perfectly, perfect for HO (16 gauge) beginners.
・For the first time, you can choose between spoke wheels and plate wheels for the plastic wheels. Featuring realistic molding and a rolling mechanism, it can be run as is as an HO (16mm) gauge model. It is also possible to attach commercially available metal wheels.
・The coupler is a knuckle-type coupler with a swivel mechanism. It can also be coupled.
・Equipped with a general-purpose coupler pocket, it can be replaced with commercially available couplers such as KD couplers.
・A reflector is included as an accessory.
*This is a trailer car and cannot be run on its own.
