The Yak-42 is a 100-to-120-seat medium-range passenger aircraft developed in the 1970s and enlarged by the Yak-40. It was Russia's first high-passenger twin-engine aircraft, and when it first flew in 1975, its prototype flew in 1980.・The Yak-42D is a long-range airliner with increased fuel capacity. Like the company's large airplane kit, the hull and main wing are made of FRP, the nose and tail, the engine and other parts are made of injection plastic.・It's got a decal attached to it, and when it's finished, it's going to be about 505mm long and 484mm wide.
