■Product Description
The M5 light tank was developed in the United States and is an improved version of the M3 light tank used by the Allied forces during World War II. The British Army nicknamed the M3 light tanks, which were provided under Lend-Lease, "Stuart," but to distinguish them from the M3, they called the M5 Stuart VI. The British Army did not use the M5 in anti-tank combat but mainly as a reconnaissance vehicle, and some of these vehicles, in which the turret was removed to reduce weight and improve speed and range, were called "Stuart Recce Tanks."
