■Product Description
This is the "Lamborghini Diablo SV 1995," scheduled to be released as a 1/43 scale handmade model car by "EIDOLON."
This model faithfully reproduces the "Diablo SV," a lightweight and sporty model among the Diablo series.
【Vehicle Description】
The Diablo appeared in 1990 as Lamborghini's flagship model. Developed as the successor to the Countach, it initially adopted rear-wheel drive, but in 1993 the VT, equipped with a four-wheel drive system, was added. The engine installed is a 5.7L V12 DOHC, and the initial model produced a maximum output of 492PS. The top speed was said to be 325km/h, boasting top-class performance among supercars of the time.
In 1995, the SV (Super Veloce) appeared as a high-performance model of the Diablo. The car's name means "super-fast" in Italian, and by adopting rear-wheel drive in contrast to the four-wheel drive VT, it is a model that places more emphasis on the joy of driving for the driver. The engine was strengthened to a maximum output of 510 PS, and it was finished with a sporty appearance that differs from the standard model, with a dedicated front bumper, a large rear wing, and SV decals on the sides.
The 1995 SV is also characterized by having the styling of the early Diablo with retractable headlights. In the 1999 update, the headlights were changed to fixed, so it is also supported by fans who prefer the fierce front mask of the early model. Combining a V12 engine, 5-speed manual transmission, and rear-wheel drive, the SV is a supercar from an era when electronically controlled driver assistance was not as widespread as it is today, and it remains highly popular as an exciting model that tests the driver's skill.
[Model Description]
This is a 1/43 scale model of the Lamborghini Diablo SV that appeared in 1995.
This model faithfully reproduces the unique proportions of the early Diablo SV, including its low-slung front nose, retractable headlights, and distinctive rear wing. By combining the sleek body lines characteristic of the Diablo with the sporty details exclusive to the SV, the powerful appearance of a 1990s supercar is condensed into 1/43 scale.
Not only the body's shape, but also the details of the front bumper opening, air intake, lights, and wheels have been carefully reproduced to express the characteristics of the actual car. In particular, the front mask unique to the early model with retractable headlights and the rear view created by the large rear wing are highlights of this model.
The five-spoke wheels that give the car a sharp look are also a highlight. In addition to the powerful stance created by the wide tires, the shape of the spokes and the color of the wheels have been carefully considered to express the unique atmosphere of the actual car's wheels.
The interior reproduces the driver-centered cockpit characteristic of the Diablo. From the dashboard and instrument panel to the center console and seat shape, the model meticulously captures the characteristics of the actual car. The low seating position, sporty seats, and functional interior design convey the SV's character, which pursues not only comfort but also driving performance. You can enjoy not only the exterior but also the interior details visible through the windows.
The color lineup will include five genuine Lamborghini colors.
