At the Tokyo Auto Show 2025, BNR32 demonstrators were shown by Garage Active on a scale of 1/43.
【Vehicle description】
Fukuoka-based "Garage Active" is one of the most popular shops known to GT-R fans across the country for its second-generation BNR32/BCNR33/BNR34 professional shops. The popularity of the shop was boosted by a wide body kit for the R32 that was unveiled at the 2018 Tokyo Auto Salon.
In the development of this kit, the first thing we decided on was the ideal suspension, the car's height, and the wheel size, and then we chose a 19-inch deep pre-wheel, and then we designed the fender line to cover it beautifully, and then we used the front fender arch to connect the rear fender to the front fender line, and then we made the fender line 40mm wide on one side.
I mean, if you look at it from the right side, it's pretty much the same as normal, and if you look at it from the front/back of the slope, you'll see that there's a massive widening of the body, which is an adult body kit.
Due to the global JDM boom in Japan, the popularity of "Garage Active" is rising globally, and in 2022, the company's demonstration cars were featured at the largest automotive-related component exhibition in the United States, the SEMA Show.
【Model explanation】
The prototype is based on the 3D scanning data common to all of our BNR32 models, the normal car body, the 3D scanning of a garage active demo car, and the widescreen build data from the 3D scanning of a wide body.
In the process, it's much less difficult to scan the entire body and replace it with prototype data, but when we're sorting out our BNR32 of different specs, we're getting a whole sense of uniformity and consistency, and we're using the above-mentioned methods to see the differences between the specs.
In addition to the accurate reproduction of the wide body of the active garage, this model provides the best representation of the carbon pattern that covers the exterior of the body, which can't be reproduced in painting or pad printing.
Because decals are just flat sheets, it's a lot of hard work to seamlessly paste them into a solid body, and it takes about half a day to finish one.
The model car is the Tokyo Auto Salon 2026.・It's basically the same as the 70 limited-selling model in the boot, but it's changing the color of the center disk of the wheel from gamma to white.
Wheel combined an aluminum cutting unit with an excellent circularity, replacing the rim and the core cutting prototype with a white metal casting unit, the center disk, to create a real car-like texture.
It's also one of those places where the interior is a faithful reproduction of the original car, like a roller cage attached to the body on a gasket plate.
