【Vehicle Description】
The Porsche 911 (993 type) Carrera is the final air-cooled model of the 911 series that appeared in 1993, and is positioned as the culmination of the long history of air-cooled Porsches.
While retaining the classic styling of the past, the exterior design has been made more refined and the aerodynamic performance has also been improved. Technically, the adoption of a new multi-link rear suspension significantly improves handling stability and ride comfort, representing a dramatic evolution compared to the previous model.
The 3.6-liter horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine offers high reliability and responsiveness, resulting in a highly refined package that can handle a wide range of driving situations, from everyday use to sporty driving.
Due to its rarity as the last air-cooled model and its high level of refinement, it continues to enjoy high regard and popularity even today.
[Model Description]
For the modeling, we adopted a method of replacing the plain body parts of the "Carrera" with 3D data of the "911 Carrera RS 3.8" developed by our company. This made it possible to share the shape of the main parts with high precision, achieving high compatibility with other 993 models that we offer.
3D scanning was also performed on the interior, and new data based on the actual car was created. Black, tan, and dark blue leather colors are set for each body color, allowing you to enjoy a color combination just like the real car.
The wheels are precisely reproduced 17-inch wheels with a unique curved spoke shape. By replacing the brass machined prototype with white metal cast parts, a sharp design has been achieved.
The distinctive headlights and taillights were reproduced with details appropriate to the scale.
The actual 993 Carrera is a highly refined car that greatly improved upon the weaknesses of previous models with the adoption of a multi-link rear suspension, and in recent years, as the last model to feature an air-cooled engine, its value has soared along with its price.
