■Product Description
○Build the Type 32, with its attractive wing shape, using Eduard's masterpiece parts

【About the actual aircraft】
The Zero fighter was the main fighter aircraft operated by the Imperial Japanese Navy during the Pacific War. Its outstanding maneuverability and range, combined with the high skill of the pilots, overwhelmed and surprised the American forces in the early stages of the war. Deployment and operation began in 1940. Improvements continued throughout the war, and it remained active until the end of the war. Among the many types developed, the A6M3 model had the folding part at the wingtip removed and the wingtip shaped into a square. It was officially adopted as the Zero fighter Type 32 in January 1943. It was equipped with the Sakae 21 engine. It had two 20mm cannons in the wings and two 7.7mm cannons in the nose. It was also operated by the 204th Naval Air Group that advanced to Rabaul, and continued to fight valiantly.

【About the Model】
This model is a 1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit of the Zero Fighter, the main carrier-based fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy that played an active role in the Pacific War. It models the A6M3, Type 32, which has square-shaped wingtips. The parts are made by Eduard, which is well known for its sharp finish. The shape of the fuselage and wings, as well as the expression of panel lines and the texture of the wing surface, are all attractive features that are unique to Eduard. The Sakae engine is also finely modeled in the nose, and the mechanical reproduction of the cylinders and rods is not to be missed. The shape of the engine cowl is also accurately reproduced. The cockpit is modeled in detail, including the floor and side walls, seats and instrument panel. Markings are included for three types of aircraft: T-2 No. 190 of the 204th Naval Air Group, which played a central role in the land-based Zero Fighter squadrons in the Solomon Islands theater, as well as No. 188 and No. 197. All of these aircraft have a dark green makeshift camouflage pattern on their upper surfaces, so it will be fun to try out some painting skills on them.
