The Ford F-Series is a series of pickup trucks that represent America.
The first model appeared in 1948. Since then, production has continued with repeated model changes, and it has enjoyed great popularity, recording the world's highest annual sales figures.
The 1972 model is the final model of the 5th generation, which appeared after a model change in 1967, and initially, there were three types in the lineup: Base, Custom, and Ranger.
Among them, the Ranger was equipped with chrome parts such as the grille and carpet as standard equipment in the driver's seat, and was given a more luxurious specification. In 1970, the Ranger XLT was added as the top model.
The Ranger, which was given a luxurious specification even among the 5th generation with a single-plane, smooth body design, solidified the popularity of the F-Series.

The model is a plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the 1972 Ford Ranger XLT using Mobius Model's original mold.
This kit realistically reproduces the popular style of the 1/25 scale truck, which has a finished size exceeding 200mm in length.
The front grille, front and rear bumpers, wheels, and body side moldings are provided as plated parts. The body is modeled in two parts: the front section and the cargo bed section.
The shape of the cab is also accurately reproduced. The bonnet is a separate part and can be removed even after completion.
The engine room realistically reproduces the 360/390 CID, V8 engine. Auxiliary equipment such as the air cleaner is also modeled, resulting in a mechanical finish.
The chassis is attractive for its realistic reproduction of the ladder frame, 4-wheel drive shafts, front and rear axles, and suspension parts.
Furthermore, this kit also includes optional parts for a dozer blade and snowplow that can be attached to the front.
