■Product Description
This model is a 1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Viggen, a Swedish fighter aircraft that played an active role. This model reproduces the JA37 Jagdviggen, the final production model that played an active role as an interceptor fighter.
This kit also includes a convenient masking sheet to reproduce the green camouflage paint scheme known as forest camouflage.
Of course, the model has a finished length of 34.2cm and accurately reproduces the unique style equipped with canards and the distinctive features of the JA37's vertical stabilizer. Not only the shape of the aircraft, but also the delicate expression of the landing gear, the details inside the landing gear bay, and the reproduction of the cockpit are all reproduced with a reasonable parts configuration that ensures a smooth assembly. Of course, assembly is easy with the included Japanese instructions. Two types of markings are included: the markings for the green camouflage aircraft that were used on various Viggen aircraft, and the markings for the gray air superiority camouflage aircraft that was only applied to the JA37 Jagdviggen. In addition, a masking sheet for painting the canopy frame, a staple of the Platz/Italeri series, is also included.
