The Toyota Sports 800, released in 1965, was a compact sports car that utilized the mechanics of the mass-market Publica. Despite its underpowered air-cooled two-cylinder engine, its overwhelmingly light weight of 580kg made it particularly successful in endurance races. Its aerodynamically superior style was also attractive, and it was affectionately known as the Toyohachi, and later as the Yotahachi.
TLV has produced early and late models, but this time we are releasing a two-tone early model '65 model, inspired by racing specifications. The design of the front grille and other features of the early model have been reproduced. In addition, water-slide decals that can reproduce racing numbers and other details are included, so you can enjoy your favorite specifications in various settings. By combining it with the already released LV-215a, you can enjoy a realistic racing experience.
*The roof is not removable.
