The M1078 is a four-wheel drive, 2.5-ton capacity military truck that supports the US military's massive logistics network.
As part of the Tactical Vehicle Series (FMTV) adopted in 1996, its highly standardized design has led to the development of a variety of variants, including cargo truck, dump truck, shop van, and tractor types.
FMTV is not limited to transport vehicles; its excellent platform capabilities have also led to its adoption as the base for combat vehicles such as "MRAP" and "HIMARS".
This product reproduces the "gun truck" specification of the 2.5-ton capacity cargo truck style M1078, equipped with an armored cabin (LSAC) for operation in high-threat areas and an M2 heavy machine gun protected by a bulletproof turret. It features metal weights and a front wheel steering and roll mechanism. User-installable parts include handrails, side mirrors, and decals.
