■Product Description
The prototype Keiyun was a naval land-based reconnaissance aircraft developed in the final stages of the war to advance over long distances into enemy territory at high speed and conduct high-altitude reconnaissance. In pursuit of high-speed performance, it adopted a unique airframe configuration with two liquid-cooled engines mounted in parallel in the center of the fuselage and an extended shaft driving a 6-blade propeller at the nose. The plan aimed for a speed of 740 km/h, but development was difficult, and the war ended after only a few test flights from May 1945.
This model was created by interviewing people involved at the time and verifying the remaining documents.
