■Product Description
Prior to the Navy's attack on Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, the Army landed in the northern part of the Malay Peninsula. The troops fought against British forces defending various locations on the Malay Peninsula, covering 1,100 km in just 55 days, and advanced towards the strategically important city of Singapore. In this operation, the Type 95 Light Tank utilized its mobility and firepower to fight valiantly in various locations, including its success at the Jitra Line, which was considered impregnable at the time of the advance.
The kit reproduces the short front fenders of the early model and the so-called standard suspension arms. Markings are included for vehicles belonging to the 1st Tank Regiment that participated in the Malayan campaign.
★Selectable between vehicles equipped with a 7.7mm heavy machine gun or vehicles equipped with a 6.5mm light machine gun. ★Reproduces the early model with short front fenders. ★Markings include three types of vehicles belonging to the 1st Tank Regiment in the Malayan campaign. ★The tracks (caterpillars) are of the link-and-length assembly type with some parts integrated.
