■Product Description
The Suisei, a carrier-based bomber developed as a successor to the Type 99 Dive Bomber, was also adapted as a night fighter, taking advantage of the maneuverability and robust airframe structure unique to carrier bombers, as well as its high-speed performance. Primarily intended for night interception of bombers, it was equipped with a 20mm machine gun mounted diagonally upward inside the rear canopy. It was officially adopted in 1944, and it is said that more than 100 Type 12 aircraft were modified, fighting valiantly against B-29s until the end of the war.
★The 20mm machine gun mounted in the rear seat is made of highly realistic metal.★Five types of markings are included, including the Fuyo Unit, famous for being a night attack specialist unit.
