Rei Ayanami is making a return to the "Look Up" series of figures that gaze and look up. "Look Up" is a coined word based on "look up," and it is a popular figure series characterized by cute gestures that make it seem as if the figure is looking up at you. With an "upward-looking and sitting pose," it is easier to make eye contact with the figure when displayed on a desk or other surface compared to regular figures. The neck is movable so you can change the expression. Rei Ayanami and Asuka Langley Shikinami are being released at the same time, and displaying them together will expand the world of the series.
