From Modelsbit's sub-brand, A&A Models, comes a completely new 1/48 scale XP-72 prototype fighter injection kit. Both kits include painting mask stickers and feature precisely reproduced details, including the engine and cockpit interior.
This is the second prototype (#36599), developed in pursuit of more powerful thrust following the first prototype. The most distinctive feature of this aircraft, the striking "contra-rotating six-bladed propeller," has been precisely reproduced with a completely new mold. The kit boasts 1/48 scale detail, with a meticulously crafted cockpit and realistically reproduced engine parts visible through the gaps in the spinner and cowling. Two types of canopies (open/closed), painting mask stickers, and one type of dedicated decal are included. The finished size will be approximately 260mm in length and 232mm in wingspan, allowing you to enjoy a highly collectible model.
