This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Alfa Romeo masterpiece, the Alfa Romeo 6C1750 Zagato.
About the actual car
The Alfa Romeo 6C1750 was a higher-performance version of the Alfa Romeo sports car 6C1500 that appeared in 1927. It was announced in 1929 and was active in racing. The engine was a 1752cc inline 6-cylinder designed by Vittorio Jano. The base type was SOHC, but other models such as the Sport and Gran Sport used DOHC. There was also a version equipped with a supercharger. Alfa Romeo sold it in a bare chassis state, and carrozzerias mounted the body. Zagato produced vehicles based on the 6C1750 Gran Sport, and these attracted attention by achieving good results in races such as the Mille Miglia.
