About the actual vehicle
The Panzerhaubitze 2000, PzH2000, is a German self-propelled howitzer whose development began in 1987 and which began deployment in 1998. The main gun is a Rheinmetall 155mm L52 gun with a barrel length of over 8m. In addition to an advanced electric automatic loading system, multiple sensors and a computer mounted on the turret control everything from selecting the appropriate ammunition to loading it. The chassis, which uses some components from the Leopard tank, is equipped with an MTU MT881V 8-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine at the front. Together with the torsion bar suspension, it exhibits outstanding mobility. It has been adopted and is in operation not only in Germany, but also in Italy, Greece, the Netherlands, and other countries.

This is a plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Panzerhaubitze 2000, PzH2000, a self-propelled howitzer of the Italian Army, which was developed by Germany and put into service in 2007. The scale is 1/72. It has 113 parts and the finished product is 163mm long including the barrel and 50mm wide. It realistically reproduces the appearance with its long barrel. Even in 1/72 scale, the distinctive style is very impressive. Not only the shape of the turret and hull, but also the details of the mounted machine gun and various parts of the hull are delicately expressed. The markings include those of vehicles deployed by Italian Army units in 2003. Two types of vehicle markings can be selected.
