■Product Description
The RQ-4 Global Hawk, unlike the MQ-1 Predator and others, is a purely unmanned reconnaissance aircraft without attack capabilities.
It made its first flight in 1998, and the first production model was completed in 2003. It is currently used by the US Air Force and Navy, and NASA also possesses several for research purposes.
In South Korea, four aircraft are scheduled to be introduced and deployed in 2020, and in Japan, a contract for acquisition was signed with the US Air Force Department in 2018, with introduction and deployment scheduled to begin in fiscal year 2021.
