■Product Description
The MQ-9 Reaper is a military unmanned aerial vehicle developed by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems.
This aircraft is based on the RQ-1 Predator B, which is an enlarged version of the company's MQ-1 Predator unmanned aerial vehicle with an extended wingspan and a turboprop engine.
The MQ-9 Reaper is a hunter-killer unmanned aerial vehicle with a long range and high surveillance and attack capabilities, and can carry external fuel tanks, bombs, missiles, etc. on hardpoints on both wings.
In addition to being used for military purposes by the U.S. Air Force and other countries, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection operates the unarmed "Guardian" as a patrol aircraft, and NASA operates the unarmed "Altair" for research purposes.
The U.S. Air Force has been deploying the MQ-9 to the MQ-9 Squadron since 2007, and it was deployed in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan in the same year.
This product is a renewed kit of a popular kit previously released under the "Skunk Model Workshop" brand, with new decals included, new packaging, and a more affordable price.
