■Product Description
Introduced in 1982, the Williams FW08 was developed as the ultimate ground effect car, generating downforce through a venturi tunnel under the chassis. Even as regulations changed, such as the banning of movable skirts, it achieved both high aerodynamic performance and a lightweight, high-rigidity chassis, becoming a representative car of the "last ground effect era" before the flat-bottom regulations were introduced in 1983. At the 1982 British Grand Prix, Derek Daly drove car No. 5 and finished in 5th place with a steady performance through 76 laps of close competition.
