The Ligier JS43, which debuted in the 1996 season, was the last Ligier F1 car introduced by the prestigious French team as they entered a new era. Based on the chassis developed from the previous year's JS41, it was equipped with a Mugen Honda V10 engine, which was developed with technical cooperation inherited from McLaren. With its excellent balance and high reliability, it was a car that showed new possibilities for Ligier. This model reproduces the specification of the 1996 opening race, the Australian GP, driven by Olivier Panis. In addition to the vibrant blue Gauloises colors, it features a special livery with the "Power Horse" logo displayed on top of the airbox, and is characterized by a livery that differs from other races during the season. Panis finished 7th in the JS43's debut race. The JS43 would later achieve a dramatic first victory at the Monaco GP. This is a highly collectible model.
