■Product Description
The Osella FA1F, which raced in the 1985 Portuguese Grand Prix, was a machine in which a small Italian team challenged the turbo era of Formula 1. Osella had been receiving technical support from Alfa Romeo since 1983, and the FA1F was equipped with an Alfa Romeo 890T V8 turbo engine. Armed with this power unit, they entered Formula 1 in an era of fierce competition. The FA1F's body was based on the Alfa Romeo 183T with Osella's own modifications, and it was a rare example of a technical connection with Alfa Romeo at the time. Driver P. Ghinzani was a central driver who supported Osella for many years, and he showed tenacious driving even in tough situations. The vibrant blue-based livery reflects the image of the main sponsor, the Italian cosmetics manufacturer Kelemata.
