■Product Description
The Ensign N176, which appeared in 1976, is an F1 car developed by Ensign, a small British constructor. It is said to have featured a solid design combining a Ford Cosworth DFV V8 engine and a Hewland gearbox, as well as a lightweight monocoque chassis and excellent handling. This model reproduces the specification of the 1976 Dutch GP, which was Jackie Ickx's first race after joining Ensign. Ickx was already a famous driver with 8 wins with Ferrari at the time, but this race is known as his first F1 race in a private team's car, and he did well to qualify in 11th place.
