■Product Description
We are pleased to present a completely new mold 1/72 Saab Safir injection plastic kit from Czech Republic's KP Models. The Safir was a two-seat single-engine trainer aircraft manufactured by Svenska Aeroplan AB (SAAB) of Sweden, which made its first flight in 1945. A total of 323 aircraft were produced by two factories, Saab and De Schelde of the Netherlands. This aircraft, which was operated by many militaries and civilian airlines mainly in Northern Europe and received high praise, was purchased by the Technical Research Institute of the Japanese Defense Agency as a civilian aircraft, and its wings were replaced with newly designed high-lift wings to conduct flight tests as the X1G STOL aircraft (Saab Safir 91B modified). Two types of propeller parts and four types of decals are included.
