○Build a Panther tank with the old Aurora kit released in the 1950s
This is a 1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Panther, a masterpiece tank developed and operated by the German army during World War II.
【About the actual vehicle】
The Sd.Kfz.171 V Panther tank is said to be the best tank among the German tanks of World War II. It was equipped with a powerful 75mm gun on a hull with sloped armor that was said to have been influenced by the Soviet T-34 that Germany faced in the German-Soviet war, and had sloped armor that was excellent at deflecting ballistics. It made its first appearance in combat at the Battle of Kursk, which began in July 1943. The Panther tank underwent improvements as production continued, and the A type, which was produced after the first mass-produced D type, had improved transmission reliability, and the turret was equipped with a new type equipped with a cupola with a periscope. Further improvements were made to the details, and it was succeeded by the G type, which is said to be the best type.
