【About the real car.】
The Trabant, also known as the Trabi, was a national car produced in East Germany during the East-West Cold War after World War II. It was built in 1958 by the East German manufacturer VEB Sachsenling.
The Type 601 was a late-range model produced from 1961. The body, which was said to be made of sliding balls, was heat-pressed and molded into a layer of fibres containing waste cotton and phenolic resin. The engine had an air-cooled straight-line two-cylinder two-cycle exhaust capacity of 593 cc. The body was laid on the front and drives the front wheels. The body was lined up with two-door sedans and two-door station wagons.
【It's about the model.】
The model is a plastic model assembly kit that replicates the long-loved passenger car, the Trabi, on a 1/35 scale in East Germany. It models the two-door sedan type of the late-model Trabi 601. It sets 3D printed figures that replicate a driver wearing a helmet. It is reproduced in a posing that holds the steering wheel on the driver's seat, enhancing the sense of realism. It has over 80 parts points. It replicates the existing machines that competed in rallies in East Germany in the late 1980s.・International rally cars have four types of markings in a cult-graphic decoration. Interior design, chassis underneath and suspension mechanisms are also real. The wheels have 3D printed parts.
